Booking-platform host protection programs are not a policy issued to you. They have their own terms, limits and exclusions, may not cover direct bookings, and you don't control the claim. Most hosts carry their own policy.

Does it cover off-platform bookings?
What's excluded?
Who handles the claim?
Will your lender accept it? (Usually not.)
